My answers
1) The best player in the team, we will never get the chance to sign a player of his quality in the next 5 years.
2) Promise him the captains armband for the last season at UP and our 1st season at the Olympic stadium. Wages to make him top earner.
3) got to be around £15-£20 mill although i don't know how long he has left of his contract.

Technically prob the best player we have had since Tev. Makes the game look ridiculously easy and is an absolute natural with a football at his feet
But hardly a 100% must keep. If he left tomorrow we would at worst be the odd point shorter without his presence. Probably more concerned if the BEAST fucked off

I agree Sven. If he wants to be número uno at a club about to go to the OS,we might be very tempting.
Offer the captaincy,a six figure weekly salary,and a luxury penthouse flat on the River Thames,plus various titbits for his missus,and we might be in business.

No. There are 3-5 non English clubs that a player like him would play at.
One is Barca and he is behind Masher.
Another is Real. He might not walk into the team but would be a good fit.
Bayern have loads of players at his position. He probably doesn't want to go to Germany.
PSG and Monaco are in garbage leagues just like the Italian clubs.
So there are the foreign clubs. Are saying he is going to join fucking Celtic over us because they are Champs league? Cmon you are talking out of your arsehole.
English clubs-
Tottenham- no way step down from us
Arsenal- they turned him down and Wenger could stop picking him. Highly unlikly only a 10% chance he goes there.
He doesn;t want to live in Manchester.
That leaves one club left that he would happily move to....Chelsea.....who will probably win the league and won't neeed him and can't guarantee him first team football.
We have a great chance to sign him and we should demand our owners do it if that pathetic lump of shit Nolan can be paid 80k a week they can pay Song 200 because hes worth it in comparison tenfold.
Tell me where he is going than smart arse if we are really clinging onto the London thing? He gonna go play for 6th place Liverpool over us?

As a negative, miserable old curmudgeon, its not like me to be positive but my intuition is that he will likely sign, if the money is right and we end up in the top 6 at season's end.

Strange thread as I dreamt last night that we had agreed 20m and 100k a week and he wants to stay in London, but Levy turned up at the airport and signed him, he outbid us to offer Barca 25m and him 120k a week. Woke up in sweats.
